In 2015, all member states of the United Nation adopted the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development. The agenda includes 17 Sustainable Development goals to promote "peace and prosperity for people and the planet." Our job was to design a video piece with a unique perspective on one goal that evokes emotion and action in a viewer. My goal was Gender Equality, and I decided to use the lens of child marriage, forwarding the poem I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou.
